The axolotl owns the next tier down — and that tier is growing fast. The Scrunchems® Sugar Axolotl is the emerging trend SKU in the Scrunchems® sensory range. Axolotls have built a dedicated, passionate fanbase across gaming, social media, and novelty retail — driven largely by Minecraft's axolotl character and sustained by a broader quirky-creature aesthetic that resonates strongly with kids, tweens, and teen collectors. Stock it now while the trend is building and your floor captures the demand before competitors do. 🩷 WHY IT SELLS Axolotl Is the Rising Star of Novelty Animal Retail Minecraft axolotl content alone has generated billions of impressions across YouTube and social media. The creature has crossover appeal from gaming into general novelty, gifting, and collectible categories — and customers who love axolotls buy axolotl products consistently and enthusiastically. Early placement captures a fanbase that's still growing. Quirky Design Earns the Double-Take The axolotl's distinctive frilled appearance gives this a visual profile unlike any other creature in the Scrunchems® range. Quirky designs earn longer shelf dwell time — customers look twice, pick it up, and the tactile payoff closes the sale. Soft Squishy Texture Delivers the Sensory Payoff Super soft, squeezable, stretchable texture supports stress relief, focus, and sensory stimulation across a broad age range from 3 upward. Compact enough for bags and pockets — the everyday carry format that drives consistent repeat purchase behavior. Gifting and Collecting Appeal in Equal Measure Axolotl fans collect axolotl products. Gaming fans gift them. Parents buy them for kids who won't stop talking about Minecraft.
